Care for Our Caregivers
Sandra Rocco-Melville, Executive Director of Noah Homes, started her Noah journey back in 1987 as a caregiver, and later became the House Manager of Casa de Esperanza.
Since then, we have added many more amazing people to our staff and we now have more than 35 employees who have been at Noah Homes for five or more years. Together, they have provided nearly one million hours of care to residents since 1983! In the midst of what’s being called The Great Resignation, in an industry with a high turnover rate, it is these dedicated, selfless servants that we include among the nation’s healthcare heroes.
Let’s show Sandra Rocco-Melville and our amazing team of caregivers how much we appreciate them. Donate today in support of those who sacrifice and always put our residents first!
Gifts of Stock
Your broker can assist you in making a gift of stock via a direct transfer to Noah Homes. Giving a gift of publicly-traded stock that has increased in value and that you have owned for more than one year may provide greater tax benefits than giving cash. Your charitable income tax deduction is equal to the fair market value of the stock and you avoid paying the capital gains tax on any increase in the current value over the original cost of the stock. You may also save by not incurring brokerage fees because you are transferring ownership rather than selling the stock.

We Love Our Monthly Donors
Thanks to the support from the community, we can operate without debt, despite needing to fundraise $7,800 per resident, per year to offset costs not covered through government funding. We are careful to ensure we are cutting costs and improving our sustainability without sacrificing our top-quality care. Noah Homes’ programs are designed to be person-centered and to consider the personal preferences and choices of each resident. By becoming a monthly donor, you are helping us foster growth, promote self-esteem, and enable each individual to develop new skills.
